TDI - Advance Gas Blender Course

This course provides the training required to allow candidates to competently and safely blend helium and oxygen based gases. The objective of this course is to train candidates in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards involved in blending of Nitrox and Trimix for use  in technical diving. This course is ideal for Instructors to have on their CV when looking for jobs abroad or employment in UK dive shops. We at Ocean Diving also like to include as much information as possible to divers wishing to blend Nitrox or Trimix at home or within their dive clubs, we cover the purchasing of Oxygen and Helium, blending equipment and purchasing compressors etc.

This course can be combined with the Nitrox Blender Course.

Qualifications

Upon Successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in the blending of Helium/Oxygen based mixes

Who may teach

Any Active TDI Advance Gas Blender Instructor may teach this course

Student - Instructor Ratio

Academic - Unlimited, so long as adequate facilities, supplies and time are provided to insure comprehensive and complete training

Student Pre- Requisites

Be a minimum age of eighteen (18) & Show proof of certification of TDI Nitrox Gas Blender or equivalent.

TDI allows instructors to structure courses according to the number of students participating and their skill level
